1st Philmont Backpacking prep weekend. Destination tbd. This will be only one of two prep backpacking weekends currently planned. You need to attend. We will be working on backpacking skills and rotating Scouts through leadership positions.

2nd Philmont Backpacking prep weekend Destination...Sky Meadows State Park (~goal: 2000' +). This will be the second and last prep trip prior to Philmont currently planned. You need to attend. We will work on practicing the full crew complement, gear load, food, hygiene, water purification...full run through. Final selection of Crew Leads (Youth leads) and other positions.
