Centennial Celebration

Celebrating 100 Years

Looking Back — Leading into the Future.

For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has created a foundation of leadership, service, and community for millions of America's youth.  In February 2010, the BSA will celebrate 100 years as an organization.  Founded as an outlet to prepare every eligible youth in America to become a participating citizen and leader, BSA has more than fulfilled its mission.  As BSA celebrates its first 100 years, everyone associated with Scouting can be especially proud of their rich history, which has
laid the foundation and has paved the way for a strong future, as well.  In the coming year of centennial celebration, BSA looks forward to shining a light on their rich heritage, core values, and on their role in shaping America's youth.
